We thoroughly enjoyed our month break from school in April! We have been back at it for two weeks, but before I get to all that we’ve done in school, here’s a look at what we were up to in April…
We enjoyed lots of day trips to our favorite places, getting together with friends, going to the zoo and much more. I signed the kids up for Summer camps, looked ahead at our next school year and did lots of planning, curriculum choosing and so forth—I think we are all set!
We enjoyed celebrating Easter with our parents. The kids had fun hunting for eggs, raiding their Easter baskets, reading the Easter story from the Bible and celebrating my Dad’s birthday.
I got a new camera as an early birthday present from Jamie, and a telephoto lens to go with it from my in-laws and have been LOVING it! 
I have been using my spare time reading, practicing and taking lots of pictures!
Jamie and I took a long weekend trip alone to Biltmore and had a blast! The kids had fun staying at their grandparents houses.
Joe wrapped up his Spring soccer season. He really enjoyed playing his games and played hard!
Our first couple weeks back at school have gone well. No one seems to mind getting back at it, including me. I love our year round schedule, and all the planning I did during our month off is paying off tremendously!
