Muffin Tin Monday-People and Faces

Muffin Tin Monday at Her Cup Overfloweth

Today's theme for Muffin Tin Monday is People and Faces. I'll be honest, I was totally stumped by this theme and had not one single creative idea until Friday night. I decided to go through every kid themed magazine and cookbook I had and am so glad I did! I got some ideas, and you'll see what I came up with below. Now, my finished products look nothing like the masterpieces from the magazines and cookbooks they came from--I am definitely a novice at this type of "decorating", but the kids LOVED them, and that's what matters most, right?!

**Side note**Yes, I am totally aware that my tins this week are filled with lots and lots of sugary indulgences--and yes, I did feel a bit guilty for serving so many sugary sweets at once. However, I did make them choose a couple of things to save for later:-).**

Here's what I served in our tins this week:
  • oatmeal cookie face
  • banana person--He can be whatever you'd like:-)
  • a baby in bed with their teddy--since we are about to have a new baby any day in our home
  • grapes
  • cowboy Twinkie (we are studying the letter "Cc" this week in our Preschool Corner)

The kids seriously had a blast with their tins this week! It is amazing to me that they get so excited over their Muffin Tin meals, but this is what makes it so worth the effort to prepare them weekly! Now, head over to Michelle's at Her Cup Overfloweth and see what everyone else came up with for their MTM People and Faces.
